Former Kaduna State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Nuhu Audu Bajoga was sworn-in as Deputy Governor of the state Friday with a pledge to be loyal to Governor Ramalan Yero and people of the state.
Also speaking at the swearing in ceremony, Governor Mukhtar Yero explained why he decided to choose an elderly man as his deputy, saying that nothing will come in between them as his deputy would be his first adviser.
According to the governor, the choice of Bajoga as his Deputy was informed by his age and competence, adding that, the age gap between him and the new Deputy Governor was like that of him and late the Governor Patrick Yakowa.
"I chose Ambassador Bajoga because of his age for the benefit of the state, because they said, age is experience and we are going to work together harmoniously for the betterment of the state.
"You will never find me to approach, because I know the office of the Deputy Governor and I will do my best to improve on the way I left it," he said.
