In furtherance of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the Nigerian Bag Manufacturing Company Plc (BAGCO) said it has constructed a modernised water borehole to Akinsemoyin Nursery and Primary School, Surulere, Lagos.

A statement said the facility was inaugurated the Managing Director, BAGCO, Mr. Abiodun Ogunkoya.

In his speech, Ogunkoya said the company knew the importance of water, adding that, that was the reason why BAGCO considered it fit to donate a borehole to the school to ease its water problem.
He also promised that the company would continue to give back to the society where it operates.

In attendance were the company secretary, Mr. Korede Okusanya, some BAGCO staff, Surulere Local Government Head of School Service and Education Secretary, representative of the school PTA, Alhaji Sadam, staff and students of the school.

The Head Teacher, Akinsemoyin Nursery and Primary School, Surulere, Mrs. Deborah Adewale, in her welcome address appreciated the contribution of BAGCO towards educational development in Lagos and especially to the school.
