Players and officials of the national U-17 female team,
Flamingoes arrived Abeokuta Monday night venue of their African qualifiers against Zambia this weekend.
The team flew to Lagos before proceeding to Abeokuta in a journey that lasted 1hour 30 minutes and they are lodged at Wenby Suites.
Head coach of the team Peter Dedevbo believes his girls will not disappoint Nigerians as they take on their Zambian opponents, the She-polopolo.
He also praised the efforts of NFF in making sure he and his players lacked nothing during the period of the qualifying matches.
“My bosses at NFF have really done noble since the beginning of our screening exercise and through out the qualifiers.
“Despite the court cases here and there, they still made sure my girls and I lacked nothing.”
Captain of the side, Victoria Aidelomon is confident she and her team mates will make Nigerians proud come 24th as she looks forward to leading her team out when the World Cup begins later in the year.
Meanwhile, Flamingoes will engage Tewo Babes of Ibadan, in a friendly match Tuesday evening at the M.K.O Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta.
