General Andrew Owoye Azazi (rtd)
Embattled National Security Adviser (NSA), General Andrew Owoye Azazi (rtd), Monday met with Vice-President Namadi Sambo behind closed doors.
Azazi kept a straight face when he arrived and did not respond to questions from State House Correspondents when he was leaving. It was gathered that the visit may not be unconnected with the bomb attack in Jalingo, Taraba State, since President Goodluck Jonathan was away to Chad when the attack took place and may have gone to brief Sambo.
Another source said he may have gone to explain himself over the statement credited to him at the South-south Summit in Asaba, Delta State where he allegedly blamed the lack of internal democracy in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the security challenges in the country.
