Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero

Following the attack on the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero which claimed the lives of six persons by gunmen ,   the Kano State Government  has placed a  ban on  motorcyclists operating in the state.

In a special Radio and Televised  broadcast on Tuesday, the state Deputy Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje said the state government after security report decided to ban the commercial activities of motorcyclist in the state.

He said  that henceforth no passenger  carrying cyclist  will be  allowed to operate in  any  form in the  state.
