Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas
London Club Arsenal is thinking big for the summer transfer window and could be looking at the direction of Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas, according to reports in the British Press.
According to The Daily Star, Arsenal may make a move for the 31-year-old over the summer as they hope to make the most of the frosty relationship between the shot-stopper and Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese tactician has left the World Cup-winner out of the starting XI, despite recovering fully from a thumb injury, reports futaa.com.
And Arsene Wenger's could exploit that by offering upwards of €20m for the captain.
Arsenal has also been linked with want-away Barcelona goal keeper Victor Valdes.
To get any of these big names being targeted, the Gunners will need to first seal their place in the Champions League as it will be more difficult to bring in top stars to the Emirate if Champions League football is not assured.
