A  gang of  nine armed robbers on Tuesday stormed the popular Wapa foreign exchange market carting away an undisclosed amount of money in both local and foreign currencies after killing one of the operators.

The armed robbery attacked came barely 24 hours after  four gunmen killed a young barber in Kawo area of Kano and injuring two.

Eyewitness account said the armed robbers stormed  the residence of one Alhaji Baba Hassan Bureau de change house at Layin Yan Goro of Wapa quarters who disguised as they were there to exchange their money.
