Arik Air

By Tunde Sulaiman

Arik Air, Nigeria's biggest airline, Thursday morning suspended all flight operations throughout the country.

Although details are still sketchy, the airline is believed to have taken the action because of some differences between it and Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

More details to follow...

  • The power of monopoly. A situation created inardvently by the Ministry of Aviation and shoddy regulatory monitoring. With most other domestic airlines now grounded, roads still in state of lethal disrepair, and high speed rail linkage still shifting mirage of 'story book' proportions, what exactly does this GEJ's Government want us to do now??? (In addition to fuel queues increasingly being a corresponding companion of epilectic power)...

  • We need to be respected even if the business has monopoly. Your staff should have good training on human relations.

  • Infact all the airlines staff are rude and obstinate. I don't blame them anyway everything is man no man. If not, some of the airlines are not worthy of operating NOT TO TALK OF THEIR STAFF. Until we learn how to be truthful to our God and ourself

  • After my first London flight with Arik I swore never to fly with them again. They engage in corporate stealing and inhuman customer service. When I complained, they never replied.
