Former Lagos State governor and ACN national leader Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is said to have reconciled the factions in CPC. Following Tinubu’s meeting with the warring camps, the Senator Rufai Hanga-led faction, which had dragged CPC to court and which is said to be in possession of the party’s registration certificate has agreed to bury the hatchet and withdraw its case from court. But how does the APC handle the APGA challenge? One APGA camp led by Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha has opted for APC, another camp, which has Anambra State Governor Peter Obi, is opposed to the merger. One camp says APGA has joined APC, another says APGA will never join. Meanwhile, we are told the APGA row is delaying the logo of the new mega party.
