A similar incident played out in Bauchi where some group of youths in the metropolis weekend protested over the voting pattern adopted by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) northern delegates to the just concluded presidential primary election in Abuja.

Our correspondent who monitored the protest reported that the youth took over the streets of Nassarawa and Ran roads, chanting: “Bamuso, bamuyin Jonathan” meaning: “We don’t want, we are not for Jonathan”. They also rained insults on delegates from the state who voted for Jonathan.

They burnt some PDP flags and umbrellas to show their annoyance over the voting pattern of the special National convention of the Party.

However, the protesters were later dispersed by the joint security operatives comprising of police and soldiers along Nassarawa street.

Speaking to newsmen the leader of the youth Comrade Aliyu Ladan said they were disappointed with some of the governors in the north that compelled delegates to vote for Jonathan.
