The All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) has expressed concern over the continued detention of the Borno State Chairman of the party.  Alhaji Mala Atuman by the Joint Task Force (JTF).

The party said in a statment by its  National Publcity Secretary, Chief Emma
Eneukwu that while it supports all the good measures being taken by the Federal Government to fight terrorism in the North Eastern Zone of the Country, it would urge that the JTF released the Borno State Chairman or charge him to a competent court of Jurisdiction to determine his innocence or otherwise.
