The All Nigeria Peoples Party [ANPP] has taken a swipe on the Federal Government and the People's Democratic Party (PDP) over the reoccurring issue of poor implementation of the national budget.

In a statement issued Friday by its National Publicity Secretary, Chief Emma Eneukwu, the party said it fully supports the National Assembly's resolve to henceforth insist on proper implementation of the budget.

He said "ANPP received with interest the comment credited to the Senate President David Mark during his address at the resumption of the Senate from recess on Wednesday that poor implementation of budgets have dashed the hopes of Nigerians for an improved living condition". Eneukwu commended the National Assembly for standing on its constitutional responsibilities, and feeling the pulse of the people.
