Efe Ambros with the Scottish Cup
Super Eagles defender, Efe Ambros has had a truly spectacular season after his club, Celtic won the Scottish Cup on Sunday.
Although he only played nine minutes in the 3-0 victory over Hibernian at Hampden coming on as a 81st minute substitute for Brown, it was enough to ensure that the Nigerian added the cup to his trophy cabinet, which already has the Scottish Premier League title and African Cup of Nations trophy he won with the Eagles in South Africa in February.
Gary Hooper was the star of the day as scored twice in a straight-forward victory over Hibernian.
Eoin Doyle could have given Hibs an early lead but headed straight at goalkeeper Fraser Forster, reports the BBC.
Hooper volleyed in after eight minutes and headed his second 23 minutes later after back-post runs.
Joe Ledley settled the game with a powerful drive with 10 minutes remaining.
Celtic's 36th Scottish Cup final success meant that Hibs, who lost last season's showpiece against Hearts, had again failed to win the trophy for the first time since 1902.
