Chairman of All Local Government Association of Nigeria (ALGON) Kebbi State chapter and former chairman of Birnin Kebbi local government area, Alhaji Ibrahim Dan-illela, has promised to address the problem of youth unemployment through the establishment of youth skill acquisition centre.

He disclosed this to journalists Monday shortly after going through the screening exercise by the Kebbi State Independent Electoral Commission preparatory to the September 15 local government polls in the state. 

Dan-illela who is also an aspirant in the poll on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said: “Because of the great importance I attach to the youths, Birnin Kebbi local government area would establish youth acquisition centre fully equipped to train youth in carpentry, welding, computer and other aspects of human endeavour.”
