Adebayo Alao-Akala

Former Governor of Oyo State, Adebayo Alao-Akala, has debunked the growing speculation that he is dumping the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for another party. Alao-Akala who made the clarifications on a telephone interview yesterday declared that he was not interested in any party switch.

According to him, “I am even surprised that you are raising such issue with me when you all know that I am a sworn member of the PDP.” He said that those behind the rumours might have been afraid of him, “fearing that my being in the same party with them could be injurious to their  interests.”
