Adenuga, Mahmud Mohammed, Mary Odili , 146 Others to be Conferred with National Honours

The Federal Government  Sunday  released a list of 149 Nigerians  who will be conferred with National Honours award.

Among  those who made the list include the  Chairman of Globacom, Dr Mike Adenuga,  some serving and retired justices of the  Supreme, including Justice Mahmud Mohammed; Justice Water Nkanu Onnoghen;  Justice  Suleiman Galadima; Justice Bode Rhodes Vivour; Justice Nwali Sylvester Ngwuta; Justice Mary Odili, who were conferred with  Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR).

Other retired Justices   who  will also  be honoured with    CFR award include    retired Justice  Andrew Otutu Obaseki and  retired Justice  Kayode Eso.

The Inspector General of Police,  Mohammed Abubakar and former   First  Governor  of Lagos, Brig-General Mobolaji Johnson  were also in the list of  those  who will be honoured with CFR awards.

Others  were state governors,    senators and distinguished Nigerians  who  bagged the Commander of the Niger (CON) awards.

In a press  statement  signed by  the Permanent Secretary, Special Duties, Dr. Henry Akpan,   President Goodluck Jonathan will perform   the investiture   Monday,  September 17  in Abuja.
