Governor Murtala Nyako
The crises continue to rock the Adamawa State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), a group, Adamawa Democratic Congress (ADC), has warned President Goodluck Jonathan to watch his shoulders to avoid being stab at the back by some enemies within the party.
The group, which issued the warning via a statement signed by its Chairman, Yusuf Garba, alleged that some party chieftains who do not believe in the Jonathan administration are being deployed in ongoing battle against the state government.
Garba while advising the president on the political web being laid on his way by the gladiators, submitted that sooner than later, he will discover who the people are.
The group, which blamed the national leadership of the party for allegedly using Jonathan’s enemies to wage war against the Adamawa State government, added: "Governor Murtala Nyako and President Goodluck Jonathan are the likely victims of this ominous and cancerous brawl."
The group accused the PDP National Chairman, Dr. Bamanga Tukur, of using Umar Ardo, the former Special Adviser to erstwhile Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and Senator Shade Bent against Nyako.
According to ADC, "coincidentally and very complex is the avowed loyalty of the duo to Tukur. Naturally, and in good sense of politicking, the National Chairman of the ruling party should be working in tandem with the objectives, focus and thrust of the manifesto of the party as being championed by the national leader of the party.
“But how plausible is it now that the National Chairman of the PDP who works hand in glove with Alhaji Umar Ardo and Senator Shade Bent, who in turn, are avowed friends of Temipre Sylva, could be Mr. President’s men?
“This is a political puzzle that has defiled all rationalising, permutation, and pontification attempts to solve. One piece of the puzzle is missing. Find it?
“Alhaji Umar Ardo claims to be working for Alhaji Bamanga Tukur against Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State. It then means that something very much against Mr. President may be brewing in the very dark side of politics and Alhaji Bamanga Tukur knows about it.
“President Goodluck Jonathan has to understand this political web being laid on his way, probably, he would then discover that Governor Murtala Nyako may not be the real devil,”, the group said.
