About 33 persons feared dead Friday in a fatal accident when a coaster bus loaded with passengers ran- off a dual carriage bridge and plunged into a river at Ijebu Ode/ Ore Ogbere -Ijebu stretch of the Sagamu-Ore expressway, Ogun State.

But the Unit Commander, Ijebu - Ode Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mr Seidu Isah Osilama said the three lucky survivors included a pregnant woman who hung between a tree branch.

The FRSC confirmed to Thisday last night that the driver of the vehicle slept off the wheel, disclosing that the vehicle plunged into J4 river thereby making rescue difficult for the FRSC.

On the action taken by the Command, he said the option left was to make use of local divers, saying the local divers were mobilized to search the river for rescue of survivals while a crane was on ground from Omo Wood industries to pull out the vehicle from the river.
