The Board of the Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan has constituted six standing committees in its bid to reposition the club for the 2012/2013 league season.
According to a release signed by the Chairman of the club, Mr Toyin Akintunde, the decision to constitute the committees was taken in order to further compliment the gains attained by the board during the last football season.
Mr Akintunde said that the committees would be saddled with the responsibilities of working out ways that would help the club perform well during the new season.
The committees are Finance, Media and Technical, Welfare/Refereeing, Code of Conduct and Players Statute, Strategic, Marketing/Sponsorship.
The Finance Committee is headed by Mr Toyin Akintude while the Media and Technical Committee is chaired by veteran sports journalist, Mr Ade Somefun.
Others are Mr Tunde Anifowose Kelani who takes charge of Marketing and Sponsorship while Mr Taiwo Richard assisted by Mr Bayo Ogunleke Adedokun is in charge of Welfare and Refereeing Committee.
Hon Gbade Adeyemo heads the Code of Conduct/Players Statute Committee while the Strategic Committee is headed by the Chairman of the board with all the board members as members.
The release stated further that all management staff are, however, members of the various committees.
