Nigerian golfers
A total of 26 clubs are expected to feature at the 30th edition of the Nigerian Breweries Plc, Jaji Open Golf Tournament, which begins Saturday at the Jaji Golf Club.
According to the organisers, invited clubs cut across the six geo-political zones of the country and are expected to participate at the tee-off billed for Saturday.
Prizes will be presented to those who distinguished themselves at the tournament’s closing ceremony billed for on Sunday, at the Jaji Club House at 3pm.
Friday which is the arrival day will witness the Nigeria Breweries night, which is a treat from the sponsors.
Already, the Jaji community is looking forward to the tee-off, as expressed by the Deputy Commandant of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Rear Admiral D. O. Osuofa, who was represented the commandant, AVM A.T. Muazu, while receiving the Nigeria Breweries Kaduna team led by Peter Ani during a courtesy call on Tuesday.
The Commandant thanked the breweries team for the cordial relationship and partnership with the college over the years, noting that the Nigerian Breweries among others have sponsored the AFCSC Golf Championship since the inception of the college.
