21 Winners Emerge at Fidelity Bank Promo Draw

A 23 years student of the Madonna University, Miss Benita Onwuneme, and four other star prize winners in the ongoing Fidelity Bank Plc 25th anniversary promo tagged, ‘Save and Cash Savings Splash’ went home with a Hyundai Accent car each.

One person went home with N1 million, two others won N500,000 each, 8 people won for themselves N250,000 each, while another set of 10 people went home with N100,000 each.
The promo draw, which took place at the bank’s head office in Lagos, was monitored by representatives of the Consumer Protection Commission (CPC) and the Nigerian Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC).

The star prize winners include Mr. Mohammed Isa Shemsu, whose account is resident in Kachia Road branch of the bank; Miss Benita Onwuneme, a 23 year old student of Madonna University who operates a savings account in Calabar branch of the bank, and Miss Odo Ngozika Blessing whose account is domiciled in Nsukka.

The other star prize winners are Mr. Saidu Sanusi who operates an account with the bank’s branch in Zaria and Mr. Chukwunonso of Blessed Makas Ventures Limited, who operates account with the Trinity branch of the bank in Lagos.

The N1 million winner was Mr. Nwanjoku Chima, who has a savings account with the Festac branch of the bank, while Anayo Evelyn Onyishi from the South East and Umar Bashir from the North Central won N500,000 each in the draw.

Eight other winners from the five zones went home with N250,000 each while another set of 10 winners shared N100,000 each in the draw.

Speaking during the programme, the Group Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director of the bank, Mr. Reginald Ihejiahi, said the promo was not a money-making venture for the bank but its own way of giving back a little to those who have supported the organisation in its 25 years of operation in the country.

He said that the draw was the first in the five series of draws lined up for the saving account promo, adding that in all 25 cars would be won by lucky customers while another 25 customers would have become millionaires by the time the promo ends.

Meanwhile, the bank had explained that for the purpose of this promo, its branches have been divided into 5 zones comprising of North East/North West, Abuja/North Central, South-south, South-east and Lagos/South West.
