The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State has vowed to recapture the governorship seat of the state in 2015, even as the party alleged that the state governor, Rochas Okorocha-led government had failed to provide the needed dividends of democracy in the state.

The South East zonal Chairman of the party, Col. Austin Akobundu (rtd), who made the assertion in Owerri Sunday while addressing members of the party at the Secretariat noted that his mission and mandate was to ensure that the South-east states go back to PDP, since the zone was at the forefront during the formation of the party.
