5 Questions with Djinee!1. In the last five years there’s been a boom in the music industry. It seems everyone is singing! Is this a positive development?
It depends on how you look at it. On the side of unemployment and crime, which go together, music has helped as a source of employment. Not just for musicians, but for producers, songwriters, PR/artiste managers, lawyers and everyone associated to the main act. However, this doesn’t translate to creativity. But then the industry has shown that you don’t need to be overly creative to make a living here.
