Governor Olusegun Mimiko

Ondo State chapter of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has explained its reason for  endorsing the candidature of Dr Olusegun Mimiko as the workers choice for the October gubernatorial election in the state.

According to the state’s NLC Chairperson Women wing, Comrade Itioola Olowosuko, the workers had never had it so well, and surpassing the governor’s achievements would be a great challenge for a successor, hence the decision to support Mimiko’s candidature for a second in office.

“Normally, workers are AGIP, ‘Any Government in Power’ but we are supporting Labour party because its workers party and our amiable governor take care of workers welfare as his priority and he is a listening governor.”
