The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described the victory in the election of Gyang Pwajok and Mrs. Kaneng Fulani at the weekend senatorial and state Assembly by-elections in Plateau State as not only a reaffirmation that Plateau State is a PDP fort but also a tribute to the memories of the late occupants of the two positions who met their untimely death in the state. According to a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Methu,

“The victory of our great party in the last weekend’s by-elections to fill the vacancies created by the death of Senator Dantong Daylop and Hon. Gyang Fulani is to reaffirm that the state is home to the PDP.

Besides, no epitaph could be more evergreen to the memories of these Nigerians than this victory which our great party is dedicating to peace on the Plateau.”
